Having enjoyed reading Willi Whizkas, you will love our new series of books; ‘The Teddie Tumpkins Tales’ which are a lot darker, irreverent, original and extremely humerous

If you’ve ever wondered why your car wheels or your wheelie bin smell a bit, well tom cat when you go out first thing in the morning, then you’ve become a victim of the Tail Lifters a gang of like minded cats. In fact your own cat may be a member of such a gang.

The first book ‘Teddie Tumpkins and The Tiddleswick Tail Lifters’ features characters such as Ginger Podgers and Fred Who Stares, Skwonx, Mewriel, Mogerdon, and Teddie’s nemesis; Mr. Squibbs. It details Teddie’s very funny initiation into the Tail Lifters!  The tales reveal that cats are a lot more socialable and organised than humans’ could ever imagine. When they feel that they have been wronged by humans, they exact their revenge and have fun and adventures along the way all under the unsuspecting eyes of their humans!

The Tail lifters hold their meetings, chaired by Colonel Bogey a silver tabby and Skwonx a grey cat, who is Second in Command, in the waiting room of the local railway station at Tiddleswick on Sea, home to Sparky the three legged cat who belongs to the station master who is totally unaware what is going on under his very nose! When the meeting is over the cats disperse in ones and twos so as not at alert human attention (you may see them first thing in the morning as they make their way to their own homes)

In book 2; ‘Teddie Tumpkins and The Lobster Mogsters’ we meet Grumpwhiskers, Scabious Corpuss, Pustule, Skrowte and Harry Toe-sis the cat with bad breath amongst others who start a territorial disagreement with the Tail Lifters gang

Further books feature Whington Churchill, Pusstachio, Al Caponie and his cheesy brother Mouse Caponie and a whole host of funny felines (We are currently working on book 5!)

The tales are intended to be laugh-out loud read. The humour is at several levels to appeal to all ages. Each book has a theme and they all end on a cliff-hanger. The first book has come back from an independent proof reader with the comment ‘comic masterpiece’! The concept is very unusual and currently there is nothing else like this on the market.

We are now seeking publication, or animation for the first five books in the series.
